Latest update on Drew McIntyre’s future

[ad_1]

During his long, two-part WWE adventure, Drew McIntyre held the WWE Championship, NXT Championship, Intercontinental title and twice Raw Tag Team Championship (once with Cody Rhodes and once with Dolph Ziggler), making him the 31st wrestler in history to complete the Triple Crown.

He also won the 2020 Royal Rumble match, eliminating Roman Reigns last. On January 29, 2022, the Scotsman took part in the royal brawl by entering with number 21 but was eliminated by Brock Lesnar when he was one step away from victory.

On February 19, at Elimination Chamber, Drew again defeated Madcap Moss in a Falls Count Anywhere match. McIntyre will face Happy Corbin at WrestleMania 38, the biggest event on the WWE calendar, which will take place over two nights at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium.

A guest in the latest edition of ‘WWE The Bump’, the 36-year-old from Ayr expressed his feelings just days before the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’

Backstage News on Drew McIntyre

“I’ve had huge fights at WrestleMania since returning to WWE.

At first, I saw it with Roman Reigns, then I defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship and finally I fought with Bobby Lashley. Some people may feel that this year’s match against Happy Corbin is less than the ones I mentioned.

This is a feud that has a very personal connotation, so I can’t wait to destroy Corbin in the greatest event of all” – confided Drew McIntyre. The British wrestler, who signed his first deal with WWE back in 2007, wants to fight for a long time: “I don’t think I’m going anywhere.

I will stay here as long as I am able to fight at high levels. I am in the prime of my career, I assure you. A lot of people consider me a veteran because I started when I was very young. I think I have at least ten years ahead of me”.

WrestleMania 38 has all the requisites to remain engraved in history. After SmackDown went off the air, they took on former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Rick Boogs in a six-man tag team match….
