Latest Update on Karl Anderson Injury status

One-half of “The Good Brothers” and popular WWE superstar Karl Anderson remains on extended hiatus following serious shoulder injuries. The surgeries for the torn tendon in his rotator cuff and the partially torn labrum took place this month, in November 2024; both were critical factors in the sidelining that took place since the first weeks of October.
These injuries occurred in sequence over several games, during which Anderson at first brushed off the complaints. However, when the pain grew and began to cost him his sleep, doctors eventually diagnosed the extent of the damage. It was estimated that surgery would keep him out for up to six to nine months, which would theoretically place his return for mid- to late 2025.
Recovery Progress and Rehabilitation
On the latest episode of the “Talk’n Shop” podcast, Anderson gave an update on his road to recovery. He sounded very optimistic: “Rehab is going good. I’m beyond ahead of schedule. Unbelievable, unbelievable. That’s the thing is, I’m Superman.” Despite the optimism, he still realizes he has to be careful and that it could take another six to seven months before he’s back to full, in-ring action.
His last in-ring outing came on October 1, 2024, at a WWE NXT taping with his tag-team partner Luke Gallows against the team of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. Since then, Gallows has been used in singles matches as Anderson works his way back from injury. The successful duo has found success in promotions like NJPW and Impact Wrestling and hasn’t been seen on WWE television since his injury.
The fans and his peers have all reached out with their best wishes to Anderson during this time. Really, the entire WWE Universe is looking forward to his return, as Anderson brings a special kind of energy and experience to the tag team division.
Of course, most likely, all updates on rehab will be given through WWE Official Channels and Anderson’s own personal platforms while he rehabilitates. Meanwhile, the tag team division moves…
