Mariah May Calls Out Yuka Sakazaki

After successfully defending her title against Nyla Rose and countering the onslaught of Queen Aminata, it seems that the new challenger for the AEW Women’s World Championship, which belongs to Mariah May has been found.

“The Magical Girl” Yuka Sakazaki will contest for the title against May at the AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam event. Sakazaki had been a thorn in her side ever since she returned from an injury on the September 14th episode of AEW Collision.

The belt is not one for motherhood. The champion hit Saki with the belt after the struggles with Sakazaki.

May Calls Out Sakazaki

“In Japan, people call her ‘The Killer. ‘ This is the clear last picture I wish to see my opponent in Queens standing across the stage”.

Of course, the defending champion did not end there. She pulled the rabbit out of the hat: “When we meet next time, make sure you come with your best”.

“Show me your best so I can make you feel your worst; then we will see how happy you are,” said May. She may also confirm there will be a personal factor for her in the GrandSlam match. She revealed she will have a close friend, former tag team partner Mina Shirakawa, watching the match.
