Arn Anderson Discusses Son Brock’s AEW Run

Arn Anderson, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, has recently shared his thoughts regarding the time spent by his son Brock Anderson on the Global Wrestling Network. Making his in-ring debut in June 2021, Brock was a member of the Nightmare Family stable with his father’s backing.
But as a guest on Foundation Radio, Arn contemplated whether or not that was the right time for Brock Anderson to emerge. “I would like to thank Tony Khan for giving him his break and we appreciate it,” said Arn.
Then he confessed, “I was thinking pretty much at that very moment, ‘Tis too soon. Something has been missing, he hasn’t gotten enough of television in him.’”
Rushed AEW Debut
Arn was clear that Brock does not only need time; he needs a certain kind of time before he is brought to the audience as one of the key performers of AEW.
He also stated that the time for which Brock is to be laid out was decided a few hours only before the show ‘AEW Dynamite’ went on air. “I go in [to Khan’s office] and he goes, ‘We want to debut Brock tonight,’” Arnold recounted.
“What do you say? ‘No?’ Are you kidding me? We will answer him already for what contributes in providing an alternative in the industry of pro wrestling. What, am I gonna shake my head ‘No’ to the guy?” Anderson was also interested in the first time he had a conversation with Brock about going into the wrestling business.
That time, Brock was in school, more particularly in high school, and Arn’s son was with him telling him not to forget to go to college first. To which he replied to Brock that if after college, he still wishes to become a wrestler he would help him with that ambition.
It also became clear that Brock decided to emulate his father after leaving school. In his first match, he partnered up with Cody Rhodes in AEW.
