The Undertaker Recalls Impersonating Kane in WWE Hall of Fame

The Undertaker, a WWE Hall of Famer, has just shared an interesting flashback about when he acted as his storyline brother Kane in his wrestling career. He gave details about how it felt like to be “The Big Red Machine” on his podcast “Six Feet Under”.
He first did this imitation in a match with Mankind where dressed up as Kane and stepped into the ring to act in such a way that would make him doubt his acting ability. During the next year, he extended the lie by having a fierce fight with Triple H making it harder for him to keep pretending.
When he thought of doing it all again, at first The Undertaker was unsure if he could successfully play Kane because they were almost completely opposite body-wise. “I was afraid people would see through my disguise and realize I was a slimmer version of ‘The Devil’s Favorite Demon’,” The Undertaker admitted.
However, despite such fears, he flawlessly played the character so that even himself and everyone else in the audience remained unaware.
Mastering Kane’s Masquerade
“The plan of putting on Kane’s mask wasn’t mine but whoever came up with it deserves a medal,” The Undertaker stated.
Moreover, when considering that there is no room for error when imitating Kane’s idiosyncrasies or trying to hide one’s intentions from others around them becomes evident. He further explains that “you’re together all of the time and then suddenly you are meant to become them completely down to every minor aspect – it isn’t as simple as you might think.” Both acts went secretly without detection cases while fans and other wrestlers never knew.
During those times I had made myself look like an “anorexic Kane” said The Undertaker who weighed twenty-five pounds less than his colleague during that encounter. Nevertheless, these masks worked very well such that their moments remain fresh in WWE fans’ minds today.
