Mixed WWE Reactions to Vince McMahon Docuseries

On September 25, Netflix will be streaming “Mr. McMahon,” a much-awaited docuseries, and the wrestling world will be forever waiting to know more. The six-part series intends to explore in detail the life of Vince McMahon, the controversial WWE supremo.
The show has reportedly been in the making for a few years now, and to an extent, it will shed light on the positives of McMahon’s career and the most controversial aspects of his life away from the ring, like the Janel Grant lawsuit.
Insiders allege that ‘Mr. McMahon will be unyielding in providing details about many of the infamous events in the life of McMahon. As per the first impressions of some takers, this series is likely to be one of the most censorious adumbrations written in the history of wrestling.
Meltzer Insight
In a recent episode of the show ‘Wrestling Observer Radio,” Dave Meltzer shared his thoughts about preparations he is making for this series. Meltzer, who is a famous journalist in the world of wrestling, said that he was among the interview participants of the docuseries and drew attention to its careful approach.
“I can only say that the director who did it counseled, with me – about everything that, in my opinion, any person should counsel,” Meltzer shared. “There were no stones unturned.” However, Meltzer also said that the backstage emotional split within the promotion has its own consequences.
Most of the people in WWE are said to be worried about how McMahon will be depicted in the series while loyal to him. “I understand there are people inside of WWE who do not support it. That’s what Meltzer said. But how fair would it be to Vince? However, there are these pro-Vince people.
These people are not happy. If it was a fair film, how could they be? We shall see, but these advertiser consumers are happy – at least these anti-Vincent people will also not be happy.’
