New details on Jeff Hardy’s current status

Jeff Hardy was suspended from AEW after being arrested in Volusia County, Florida for driving under the influence of alcohol. The wrestler had failed every balance test and his blood alcohol level was four times over the legal limit in the state of Florida, then going to rehab to try to recover to continue his path in the ring.

Later, after he was spotted with a bad eye on vacation by a fan who took a picture with him, his brother Matt Hardy said he knew last spring that: “Jeff just had an eye surgery. His eyes were a little out of phase, probably only because of the wear and tear.

They had to work on some ligaments and tendons in one of his eyes. So they corrected it with surgery and said that probably in five, six weeks, it should be fine.” The wrestler then of course returned to work in AEW after recovering from surgery and after having made rehabilitation for his problems.

Jeff Hardy has had so many problems

To give an update on his current condition, Jeff Hardy himself has thought of the podcast “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy”, as transcribed by WrestleTalk, pointing out that, despite the improvements, some problems still exist: “My biggest challenge was the eye surgery I had in March, double vision, so it’s still my biggest fear.

I can see where I need to see. The double vision is still there. For example, if I lean on my bed and try to watch TV. Even looking at the camera now, it’s a bit split [the view]. But on the left, that’s where it all started.

It’s pretty much gone, so I can see where I should in the wrestling ring. I just need to do more matches. More matches like tonight where I’m actually excited to go out there and perform.”
