NXT Tag Team Reunites, Tag Title Match set for Stand & Deliver

On the last episode of NXT 2.0 before Stand & Deliver this weekend, a tag team reunited that no one saw coming.
Coming back from a vicious attack from Toxic Attraction during her match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Raquel Gonzalez has returned. Not only did she return, but she reunited with her former tag team partner, Dakota Kai.
In a segment inside the ring, all three members of Toxic Attraction took to the mic to address Stand & Deliver. The NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose has to now battle three women (Cora Jade, Io Shirai, and Kay Lee Ray) in a Fatal 4-way on Saturday. After Shirai and KLR won the Dusty Cup last week they chose to cash in on Rose instead of going for the tag titles.
Toxic Attraction explains that they took out Gonzalez and Jade from the tournament as they were the favors to win. This helped Kai and Wendy Choo advance to the finals but they couldn’t win the tournament. Speaking of Choo, Kai was looking for her now former (?) tag team partner earlier in the night.
Kai found Choo’s belongings on the floor backstage as they were torn up and ruined. Toxic Attraction confirmed that they had something to do with the attack as they had some of Choo’s belongings on them in the ring.
Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne added that they would walk into Stand & Deliver as the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions and watch as Rose retains her title from “three other bimbos at the same damn time.” Kai’s music hits and she rushes to the ring but the numbers are not to her advantage.
Gonzalez’s music hits marking her return and the former NXT Women’s Champion helps Kai clear the ring from Toxic Attraction. The two would eventually embrace with Kai jumping into the arms of Gonzalez. They celebrate their reuninon by raising up the tag team titles and a match is booked between Toxic Attraction and Kai/Gonzaelz for Stand & Deliver. The match will be on the Kick Off show.
