Stefan Kendal Gordy, widely recognized as Redfoo from the vibrant duo LMFAO, has always carried a profound love for tennis. Redfoo has actively engaged with the tennis community, illustrating his long-lasting passion for our sport.

Stefan competed in the USTA Northern California Sectional qualifying tournament in 2013, seeking a spot in the US Open qualifying draw. He fell in the first match but drew attention among his fans and tennis lovers.

The musician strengthened his tennis links after dating Victoria Azarenka for over two years, traveling with the former world no. 1 and feeling the vibes of the big scene.

Redfoo made his professional debut in September 2016. Almost eight and a half years later, the 49-year-old is back on the professional circuit. Gordy entered last week’s M15 Sharm El Sheikh event and experienced a bagel in the first qualifying round.

Redfoo stayed in Egypt and received a wild card at this week’s event. The veteran made his main-draw professional debut versus Norway’s Leyton Rivera and experienced a 6-1, 6-0 loss in 43 minutes! The 23-year-old controlled the pace on serve and return and sailed over the top.

The American hit only one double fault, but his initial shot is not good enough for the tasks of the professional tennis. Redfoo took only ten points in his games, holding once but suffering five breaks from eight opportunities presented to his opponent.

Rivera never lost serve and kept the pressure on the veteran. The Norwegian made a promising start and sealed the deal with a bagel in set number two. Gordy got broken at love in the second game of the duel before holding two games…
