Bully Ray Highlights WrestleMania 40’s Dominance on Raw

Inside the WWE universe, however, the legal controversies have been grabbing more than their fair share of headlines outside the wrestling ring in a week dominated by the dynamic interactions between marquee players involved in a series of four-way matches: Cody Rhodes, The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins.
The fans of The Undertaker are rife with speculations on who will be brought forth to contend for the much-vied-over Undisputed WWE Universal Title or WWE World Heavyweight Title at the much-awaited WrestleMania 40. But while that particular angle has most definitely made headlines and ruffled some feathers, it has also sparked some sort of debate about its implications for the WWE product as a whole.
Just last week, a Hall of Famer in the world of professional wrestling and also a two-time Hall of Famer, Bully Ray, shared his views on this growing storyline in a segment of “Busted Open Radio.” He said something that all observers, fans, and experts can agree with, emphasizing that the main event storyline has even overshadowed other segments on this week’s airing of “WWE Raw.
But though Bully Ray was careful to avoid casting negative light over the show as a whole, he did pose a profound question as to whether the intense spotlight on the Rhodes/Rock/Reigns/Rollins saga might be inadvertently dimming the richness and diversity of the WWE’s broader storytelling canvas.

Reflecting on his viewing experience, Bully Ray says, “It’s as if the high-octane drama and intrigue of the main event angle has hijacked my entire focus in such a way that it’s been hard for me to be fully vested in all the other storylines that are playing out on ‘Raw.’
