Kevin Nash: WWE Raw Double Tapes

WWE is set to record the two episodes of Raw over one night expanding the time duration of shooting on Monday and talents will get more free time spent.

There will be multiple episodes of the WWE television that will be played in the presence of an audience that will be double tapings for the fans.

The WWE has decided to increase the number of episodes that were previously recorded to the red brand with the return of WWE Raw to a two hour format for the remainder of the year. In premium countries it is not unusual to pre-record the live shows before the holidays of special events like Christmis or Easter.

But the WWE has started recording two Raw shows in one night using extra hours on Monday allowing the actors to take a long time off. Kevin Nash, the WWE Hall of famer, revealed some insights of the pre-recordings of the two Raws during the broadcast of “Kliq This”. He explained the role of USA Network in recent pre-recordings.

WWE Expands Raw & SmackDown to 3 Hours

Although, in order to cover their production costs, the USA is paying them less, but they also have a deal where one a month they can double the amount the US is paying them to cover their cost. In my point of view, they are doubling the amount anyway no matter what. It just coincides with the deal they cut. Just give them more time and they will double up the amount.

On January 6, when the flagship of the WWE starts its streaming on Netflix, the shooting of Raw sets to original three hours length as earlier. Besides this, ‘WWESmackDown,’ which has recently shifted to the USA according to its own decision, will also record his show for three hours. Aside from all this, “WWE NXT” is the only program that runs for two hours in a week.

It just coincides with the deal they cut. Just give them more time and they will double up the amount.
