Rio Ferdinand believes Newcastle will escape relegation from the Premier League this season as a result of ‘one or two’ more impact signings.
The bottom five in the Premier League – Burnley, Watford, Newcastle, Norwich and Everton – are separated by just seven points as we head into the two-week break.
Yet with teams having a differing amount of games in hand, there’s still plenty to play for and ex-Manchester United centre back Ferdinand has made his prediction regarding the battle to avoid the drop.
