ROH to Showcase Match Dear to Tony Khan Heart

Notwithstanding its recent development, Ring of Honor (ROH) is still very much ingrained in the pioneer of independent wrestling promotion history. Tony Khan, the current President of AEW, who in college was a big fan of the company, has also tried to pay tribute to its legacy with his weekly “ROH on HonorClub” series.
It uses recent standard episodes that show typical ROH fights in a new perspective with commentary from Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman. The first match that will be worth remembering is the match between Samoa Joe and Kenta Kobashi.
Moreover, during the recent media call to promote AEW WrestleDream, Khan clarified that there is one such classic match that will be featured, and this one is quite important to him. “This week, going into Wrestledream with all the risk involved in the match and everything that has been bought into AEW by Bryan Danielson, this is the match I wanted to push that is quite personal to me,” he stated.
Khan Reflects on Danielson
He explained even further, “It was in ROH that I got introduced to Bryan for the first time. One of the two matches that made me a huge fan of ROH featured bryan danielson. Last week, we had Samoa Joe vs.
Kenta Kobashi which was one of the two DVDs I purchased while in college that transfixed me onto ROH. The other I believe i remember as having been more recent in time was Bryan Danielson vs KENTA”. Danielson vs Kenta takes place on ROH Glory By Honor V in 2006 and is considered to be one of the high points of the company’s history and also one ofBest performance of Danielson’s reign as ROH World Champion.
KENTA, a highly important wrestler in Pro Wrestling NOAH in the 2000s, sailed through the circuits of ROH, where he had great bouts with the likes of Low Ki, Nigel McGuinness, and Davey Richards himself.
