Bianca Belair Backs Montez Ford Singles Breakout

Montez Ford joined WWE in 2016, and fans instantly warmed up to him together with Angelo Dawkins as one half of the Street Profits. The two spent many years developing into superstars in the developmental system and even held the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships before their main roster ascension in 2019.

After so many title changes, the two are still pressing to get to the top tier of the WWE. At that time, Ford’s wife, WWE superstar Bianca Belair, shared that she thinks the time has come for Ford to pursue a single career.

On “The Masked Man Show,” Belair made no secret about the future of her spouse. That particular one seems ready, she commented. “He enjoys tag team action. Dawks is kind of like a brother to him so he gets confused sometimes.

He is ready, and then he is like, why do i feel this way; this is my brother. I have to step up and do as much as I can in a tag.’”

Ford Resurgence Begins

Though 2024 has not been particularly eventful for Ford and Dawkins, the pairing has lately been seen in action on “WWE SmackDown,” followed by a brief return to action in “WWE NXT”.

Belair has a different opinion. She thinks that Street Profits doesn’t get the credit they deserve in the tag team division of this day and age. However, she is positive that Ford will have his spotlight soon. “And all that man requires is the chance, and they will soar high,” added Belair.

“I can’t wait to be there to help him like he has helped me. It’s crazy, though, [how] he downplays himself so much sometimes. ‘Remember, you are a Triple Crown Champion,’ I have to say to him.” “I think Ford possesses all the skills that he can get success as a single,” said Ford’s supporter, a multi-time WWE champion once again. She further stated that the audience has not seen everything that he can do.
