In recent months one of the greatest characters of All Elite Wrestling, Jon Moxley, well known throughout the pro-wrestling world for his time in WWE under the guise of Dean Ambrose, has had to be absent from the television screens of Dynamite and Rampage, to undergo a long period of rehabilitation from alcohol, with the former world champion of the federation of Khans and the federation of McMahon, who understood how the time had come to give us a cut with these substances.
Since his official announcement, of course, Moxley has had the full support of All Elite Wrestling, as well as WWE, which apparently would have paid in full for his former athlete’s rehabilitation program, as has many other well-known personalities who have worked with the WWE, from Jake “The Snake” Roberts to Scott Hall, passing through multiple other athletes.
WWE, since the introduction of the Wellness Program, has always paid for the alcohol and drug rehabilitation of all its former employees who requested it, showing a not indifferent human and professional side.
Jon Moxley will be back in the ring soon
With an announcement that came as a bit of a surprise, the GCW, or Game Changer Wrestling, an independent American promotion, wanted to confirm how Jon Moxley will return after several weeks to fight in his own rings, with the return therefore on a permanent basis with the AEW.
which obviously seems to be around the corner. His last appearance in the AEW rings, in fact, dates back to October, with the admission of his alcohol abuse that came after only a few days. The event in which Moxley will take part, in the match against Homicide (187), will be called “The Wrld on GCW” and will be staged next January 23rd from New York City, by the Hammerstein Ballroom.
For this occasion, the GCW also confirmed the participation of several well-known faces of former WWE and current AEW wrestlers, such as – Jon Moxley vs Homicide – Matt Cardona (W / Chelsea Green) vs Joey Janela – Jonathan Gresham…
