Andrei Kanchelskis says that Manchester United should have left Michael Carrick in control of the club until the end of the season.

Carrick will take charge of Sunday’s trip to Chelsea but relinquish his duties once they return as the club have named Ralf Rangnick as the club’s new interim manager.
