Ryan Brehm ran away with the Puerto Rico Open last year, winning by six shots to secure his PGA Tour status. He needed a win or solo second place finish to retain his PGA Tour card, and he became the first golfer to win with his wife on the bag since 2013. Brehm is not part of the 2023 Puerto Rico Open field though, opting to play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational instead.
