The feud between AJ Styles and Edge is not entirely convincing

During his long career in professional wrestling, AJ Styles has fought in the world’s leading federations and has established himself as one of the most skilled performers of the modern era. In WWE, he has won the WWE Championship twice, the United States Championship three times, once the Intercontinental title and once the Raw Tag Team Championship alongside Omos, becoming the 22nd wrestler in history to complete the Grand Slam.

His second reign as WWE Champion, which lasted a whopping 371 days, is the eighth longest in the history of the belt. In the February 28 episode of Monday Night Raw, Styles accepted Edge’s challenge for WrestleMania 38, before being brutally attacked by the latter with a chair.

A guest on the latest edition of ‘Legion of RAW’ on Sportskeeda, former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo has harshly criticized the way the company is handling the feud between Edge and Styles.

Update on AJ Styles and Edge

“AJ Styles is back in the ring after being away for two weeks.

He should have immediately put himself on the trail of Edge, instead, he limited himself to making a promo in which he revealed his future intentions of him. All this does not make sense. Why didn’t he immediately have a confrontation with his opponent himself?” – has analyzed Russo.

Vince then commented on Cody Rhodes’ imminent return to WWE: “When All Elite Wrestling was born, there was an almost brotherly feeling within the roster. Today one gets the impression that things have changed. AEW is a totally different company than in the beginning, I don’t know if I mean it.

Perhaps Tony Khan’s company has taken on very similar appearances to those of WWE. This could be the reason why Cody took a step back. If he has a chance to do the same thing in WWE and Vince McMahon offers him more money, there was no reason to stay with AEW.

The amazement comes from the fact that Rhodes was one of the founders of AEW.” WWE legend Ric Flair praised Edge for his incredible return to the ring…
