After gaining victory over Roman Reigns in Wrestlemania 40 and finally finishing his story, Cody Rhodes — Undisputed WWE Champion has set himself on fire. When Rhodes was 39 years old he committed to continue wrestling for the next six years competing at his peak performance.
His dedication to his career comes from his personal life especially his father role. He gave importance to being physically fit to actively engage in activities with his three years old daughter. His tenure is remarkably marked by his ability to balance professional life and family responsibilities.
As of 2025, he aims at slowing down his career as he talked about his future plans during ‘2 Bears, 1 Cave’ podcast. Rhodes said that his age is now 39 and to keep his body in shape he would not wrestle full-time after 45. Definitely he’ll drop in.
Hollywood Dreams and Upcoming Title Defense
According to Cody, he would prefer to tell stories in the ring but in a different manner. He also said that making movies and performing in Hollywood shows are also interesting to him. He is not at the most prominent place in the wrestling world. It shows how far he fought to get this position.
He emphasized that he was always engaged in wrestling and coming back to WWE and his return and winning the WWE championship is just the same as being the quarterback of the team. It was the most enjoyable and rewarding time of his wrestling career but he does not see he would be able to deliver the same level of performance. At this point, he has the best feelings ever.
He has wrestled with the likes of AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, and Logan Paul after his victory over Reigns and also became the winner of the Crown Jewel Championship in Saudi Arabia and even made the one night return of Winged Eagle championship possible. He is set to fight against Owens once again in Royal Rumble.
There is a killer match between Rhodes and Owens where the eagle belt will be hanging over the ring that Owens got after…
