Michael Cole confirms his renewal with WWE

In August, the well-known website ‘The Ringer’ had reported that Michael Cole had renewed his contract with WWE, although an official confirmation had not yet arrived either from the federation or from the commentator himself, what happened in the last few hours with an interview with Sal Licata of WFAN: “I feel like I still have something to do inside of me. I have just signed a long term contract with the Stamford federation, so I will be doing this work for several years. I’ll be back on Netflix to comment on Monday Night Raw in January 2025.”
Currently, the veteran commentator is joined by Corey Graves to comment on Friday Night SmackDown, while his same role at Raw is held by new hire Joe Tessitore alongside Wade Barrett, and with these words Michael Cole confirms that he will be back to comment on the red show in 2025.
Over the years, Cole has also managed to get into the ring as an athlete, putting up some hilarious matches against some Superstars or against other colleagues, such as Jim Ross, in some truly unsightly, that have satisfied the fans who saw him beaten by half of the roster, as Cole has been for years a heel of the federation, at the microphone of the company.
