Arsenal and Aston Villa meet on Friday night in the Premier League, with both looking for a boost to morale and to gain some momentum.

The Gunners are actually unbeaten in six, but produced turgid performances in their last two outings, drawing with Brighton and Crystal Palace.

Villa are struggling for consistency and have lost their last two, including a painful 3-2 defeat to Wolves last weekend having led 2-0 in the 80th minute.

If there is a winner on Friday night they will climb into the top half of the table while a loser would be left floundering.

The match kicks off at 8pm on Friday 22 October at the Emirates.
