Hulk Hogan was booed during Raw on Netflix

Hulk Hogan is certainly one of the most popular wrestlers of all time, having transcended this business thanks to his immense charisma and his ability to leave fans speechless with his exceptional skills. The WWE Hall of Famer appeared in the first episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix on January 6, 2025, but the crowd reception was very different than expected. Fans were not thrilled to see him and started booing him and singing chants of mockery during the segment dedicated to him.

Hulk Hogan is controversial

Hogan’s reputation has been seriously compromised due to certain events, such as his racist comments a few years ago. Fans and insiders have been divided on this wrestling icon, who is also one of Donald Trump’s fiercest supporters.

In this regard, the first episode of the red show on Netflix took place in Los Angeles, a city where Donald is not very loved.

On the latest edition of the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Hulk opened up on his new deal with WWE: “I signed a five-year deal. I’m going to be 71 years old in a few weeks, but I signed a five-year deal for the licensing and merchandising stuff, and you know the ambassador stuff, if they need me to do something for WrestleMania. I just love doing it.”

He also revealed his WWE Mount Rushmore: “Well that’s a tough one you know because Andre has to be there. It would have to be Ric Flair. I tell Ric Flair, you’re the greatest wrestler that ever lived. I’m just going with the older guys you know, because there are newer guys like Seth Rollins, who I really admire. For me the quick fix would be Andre, Flair, Rock and Austin.”
