Dijak Reflects on Controversial CM Punk Tweet, Talks WWE Relationship

An ex-WWE star, Dijak, spoke about his controversial social media post about CM Punk. The post was made when Punk appeared on “WWE Raw” while he was under contract with AEW. In an interview with SEScoops, Dijak discussed his tweet.

Dijak had asked fans to concentrate on current WWE stars instead of Punk, who was only there for a visit. “’ Everyone is like ‘He shouldn’t be on RAW, he’s going to’ because he’s signed to AEW at the time or under contract.’ There’s this huge outpouring, this huge buzz, and in my mind, I’m thinking, ‘My best friends are also backstage at ‘Raw’ and nobody cares.’ Not one mention of it, not one tweet, not one.

And I get it. I get that CM Punk is this gigantic star and used to be the WWE Champion; that’s a big deal,’“explained.

Frustration and Honesty

Dijak shared that he was frustrated because his friends were being overlooked.

He admitted that his tweet was not the smartest thing but reflected how he felt then. “So I’m gonna use what’s happening to benefit them, so I posted something, and again, probably not the best or smartest thing I’ve ever done, but it was honest, and it’s how I felt at the time”.

Dijak wanted people to talk more about his colleagues who work hard rather than focusing all their attention on Punk guesting for one night. He also mentioned that these fans of punk “destroyed” him through social media; they did not know where he came from with this idea, though.

He still added, though, that he and CM Punk have a good relationship.“I met CM Punk, and we have a great relationship,” stated Dijak. Moreover, besides receiving hate from those against trans rights as well as racism towards black people (African Americans), dijak joked about how he would wish that CM Punk fans, as well as AEW fans, supported him since they had an issue before.
