Borussia Dortmund held off a spirited Hoffenheim to secure a nervy 3-2 win at the Rhein-Neckar Arena on Saturday, which moved them to within three points of league leaders Bayern Munich.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring for the visitors in the sixth minute, only for Hoffenheim to hit back through Andrej Kramaric on the stroke of half time.
Dortmund opened up a two-goal advantage after the break thanks to Marco Reus and a David Raum own goal, but they were made to sweat in the final stages of the game when substitute Georginio Rutter pulled a goal back for the hosts.
