NBA Twitter reacts to Anthony Davis’ new contract extension

After some speculation about when or even if it would happen, Anthony Davis received a huge contract extension from the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

He definitely secured a huge bag, as the extension will reportedly pay him a whopping $186 million over three years. The extension will take effect when his current contract expires in 2025, and it will therefore mean five more seasons of Davis in a Lakers uniform.

This new deal will be the biggest extension in NBA history in terms of annual salary — unless, of course, someone else soon secures an extension with an even bigger per annum amount, which is very possible.
