CM Punk jokes about Drew McIntyre


Yesterday evening, WWE staged its latest PLE live from Scotland, with Clash at the Castle that literally electrified the European fans of the Stamford company, with a show truly full of emotions and big surprises. One of these surprises was certainly the one that saw CM Punk dress up as a special referee in the contest valid for the world heavyweight title of Monday Night Raw, with his bitter rival Drew McIntyre who saw Punk enter the ring with the t-shirt of the company’s officials, immediately understanding that it would be his end.

After losing the title match precisely because of Punk, Drew McIntyre also saw himself mocked on social media by the same Second City Savior, in a sort of revenge for all the mockery that McIntyre himself launched at Punk immediately after finding out about his arm injury after the Royal Rumble.

CM Punk mocks Drew McIntyre

In the final moments of the title match, the two contenders unfortunately threw the referee Eddie Orengo out of the ring, hurting him badly, forcing him to temporarily pause his work, while in the meantime Drew McIntyre hit the Claymore in the ring.

Although a pinfall up to 10 counted by the crowd did not lead to McIntyre’s victory, in the end a new referee ran into the ring, but he only counted to 2, with the cameras then framing him: it was CM Punk. The Scotsman then got up, grabbed him by the neck, but he freed himself with a kick in the lower parts allowing the champion to make his finisher to conclude the match victorious with a count by Eddie Orengo who in the meantime had recovered.

In WWE’s latest PLE, King & Queen of the Ring, the company announced that Drew McIntyre will face Raw Champion Damian Priest in a title match at Clash at the Castle, with CM Punk immediately taking the opportunity to mock his opponent by making a photomontage with the face of famous actor Steven Seagal on that of…
