Drew McIntyre Talks WWE Creative Shift Impact
One of the most significant years in Drew McIntyre’s wrestling career came in 2024 when he won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, captured the Money in the Bank contract and had an intense rivalry with CM Punk.
Recently, The Scottish Warrior” Has given his view on how his success has come about as well as how WWE’s creative direction has improved. In an interview with “The Masked Man Show” during Fanatics Fest, McIntyre mentioned that under Triple H’s guidance in WWE’s creative department, he feels a kind of freedom he did not have before.
He added that this change has enabled multiple stars, including himself, to succeed. “There is this level of freedom in the creative environment at WWE, led by Triple H, now that I have never felt before… That we can really go all out,” said McIntyre.
“You see so many different people finding themselves across the board, guys, and girls, and we have so many superstars now. It is no longer about two or three people being central to what happens on the show”.
Drew McIntyre New Mindset
McIntyre also spoke about his journey into maturity, where he adopted a new mindset and let loose all filters on his character while adopting a more violent attitude.
“I do care, but I don’t care; I’m going to be me and do exactly what I want when I want, and if people don’t like it, then fuck them,” said McIntyre”. If they are cheering for you if they’re not booing for you if they’re emotionally invested, then what does any other person think, including anyone else on the roster? They can suck it.
We’re trying to make you guys care, and that’s what it’s all about now, and I feel that I’m truly 100% my own self”. This year has been a landmark year for Drew Mcintyre whose renewed focus underscores his growth as a wrestler because of changes occurring within WWE creative landscape.
