The Rock will appear more often in WWE in 2025

The Rock remained linked to WWE even after becoming one of Hollywood’s most popular actors. Unlike his other colleagues, Johnson has never forgotten the company that made him famous all over the world and has never been ashamed of his past in wrestling.

Every time he had the opportunity to return to the ring, ‘The Great One’ fulfilled WWE’s demands and electrified fans with his immense charisma. The former world champion recently appeared on WWE Bad Blood last month, where he was involved in the storyline between the Bloodline, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

New details on The Rock’s status

It is unclear when The Rock’s next appearance in WWE will be, but at least one date is certain at the moment. Johnson will be present at the first episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, which will take place on January 6, 2025, in which there will also be a legend like John Cena.

That episode of Raw – which will take place in Los Angeles – will be remembered as one of the most memorable in the history of the red show. According to the latest rumors, The Rock’s appearances will be more frequent in the first months of 2025 and will culminate with his presence at WrestleMania 41 (scheduled in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20, 2025).

In a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, WWE legend Cody Rhodes talked about The Rock’s potential return: “Rock is the director of the board. The man that is the ‘Final Boss,’ Dwayne Johnson is different from the ‘Final Boss,’ and his outside the box thinking with Nick Khan and Triple H is part of WWE’s record era … whether he’s in the ring or whether he’s not, he very much is still very involved with what happens at 41. I know when he comes back, I know who he’ll come looking for, I know what to expect, but what I can say about WrestleMania 41 is keep the rumors going. Keep them turning. Enjoy the discourse, but I think what you will get, will surprise you all.”
