LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10, 2022 –Tennis Channel will have complete coverage of the men’s season-ending Nitto ATP Finals, live from Turin, Italy, November 13-20. The event, the most exclusive on the tour, features the top-eight points earners of the year among singles players and doubles teams, with a week of heavyweight matches between the sport’s brightest stars. In 2022 this includes Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, who are respectively first and second on the men’s all-time major singles titles list, and American Taylor Fritz, who will appear in the event for the first time. The event begins Sunday, Nov. 13, at 5:30 a.m. ET.
U.S. doubles stars Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek are on teams that have qualified for the tournament as well.
In all, Tennis Channel will show more than 150 total hours of this year’s competition – 55 live and another 100 hours of same-day encores. Live coverage takes place in two daily sessions most days of the event, beginning at 5:30 a.m. ET and 12:30 p.m. ET November 13-19. The doubles championship will be live at 8:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 20. The singles title match will follow at 11 a.m. ET.
Held in Turin’s Pala Alpitour, Italy’s largest indoor arena, the singles and doubles brackets follow the same format. Singles players and doubles teams are divided into two groups of four each, with every player guaranteed three matches during round-robin play for most of the tournament. The top-two singles players and doubles teams in each group advance to the single-elimination semifinals on November 19, with winners meeting in the championship round the next day.
