The Undertaker shocks fans on Raw

Since taking over from Vince McMahon in the summer of 2022, Triple H has shown great courage and clear ideas about what it took to improve the WWE product. The former world champion had the merit of improving the atmosphere backstage and convincing several legends to return to the company after several years of absence.

On January 6, 2025, a new era officially began with the historic passage of Monday Night Raw on Netflix. There was no shortage of surprises and the audience figures were excellent, leading WWE to surpass the second season of Squid Game and shocked even the economic magazine Forbes (which dedicated a long article to the success of this operation).

The Undertaker is back

During the January 6 episode of the red show in Los Angeles, one of the most iconic moments was undoubtedly that of the return of The Undertaker. The ‘Deadman’ appeared with the ‘American Badass’ gimmick and left fans around the world speechless.

After Rhea Ripley’s victory over Liv Morgan in one of the most important matches of the night, Taker made his appearance and made Rhea’s triumph even more memorable.

During the post-show press-conference, Ripley commented on The Undertaker’s shocking appearance: “Honestly, I thought that kicking Dom in the nuts was gonna be the highlight. And then Taker came out and — yeah, honestly it’s such a special moment. I’ve been able to be in the ring with people I watched growing up, the greats.

I’ve been able to go out there while I was part of the Judgment Day and step in the ring with people that I would never think that I could step in the ring with. Like, I was part of Randy Orton’s comeback match, CM Punk’s return. Randy’s first promo back here in WWE after being injured for so long.
