Jannik Sinner plays padel with Francesco Totti

Jannik Sinner enjoyed a few hours of relaxation, and shared the padel court with Francesco Totti, former legend of Roma and the Italian national soccer team, Michele Bruno, European gold in 2019, and Giulio Graziotti, among the squads for the European Olympic Games in Krakow.
A fantastic spot for one of the most popular sports of the moment, much appreciated by many champions of the past, who take the opportunity to get together and challenge each other again. The former Roma legend Totti and Graziotti beat Bruno and Sinner, replaced after three games because he had to go to training, 12-10 in the tiebreak after leading 9-6 and saving a match point at 9-10.
Totti said: “Between watching it on television and seeing it live, there is a big difference. For tennis players, padel is more complicated because they are used to not letting the ball pass. But maybe having Sinner’s arm!” Jannik, relaxed after having passed the round at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia against the Ukrainian Shevchenko, exchanged several jokes with Totti on the court.
The two played with a headset microphone and were heard through the loudspeakers by the entire audience. “Don’t dropshot, Jannik,” Totti jokes.
“It’s a mess with the side rails,” the tennis player replies smiling “It was an honor to meet Francesco, we had fun.
This is the most important thing,” Sinner said before leaving the field to go to training.

Today, in Rome, Jannik Sinner will have to wait for the end of Iga Swiatek-Donna Vekic.
