Tony D’Angelo Shares Career Advice from John Cena & CM Punk


Everyone’s fan favorite, WWE, once again proved how big names impress and entertain with the young emerging talent of WWE NXT. Taker, Cena, and CM Punk recently spent time with NXT talent and gave them useful insights into the attraction of the business and the industry, which further helped D’Angelo improve his game. Currently, D’Angelo is an NXT North American champion and credits both Cena and Punk for all of the support he received. 

D’Angelo approached MuscleManMalcolm directly and praised the feedback he received from both of them. In addition to thanking them, D’Angelo also quoted that he and many wrestlers from the NXT roster had some of the best interactions with them for in-ring and personal development.

Cena was in the house, and he spoke to the whole locker room and provided us with some help,” D’Angelo explained, noting that Cena was present with the NXT stars. “CM Punk, He is always around when he is free; he is watching films and telling us what to do, what not to do,” he said. In the opinion of the D’Angelo’s, managing fame and staying clear of social media was the advice from Punk.

Social media has greatly influenced how many professional wrestlers and wrestling figures conduct themselves, and many share these ideas. They chronicle the toxic culture that victims of constant limelight and exposure to public opinion experience. While D’Angelo seems to be yet targeted to an extent Punk has, he noted how people tend to hold arbitrary opinions and then pass judgment in Punk’s words.
