Tottenham stars Dele Alli and Sergio Reguilon have both taken the coronavirus booster jab and encouraged everyone to do the same. 

Both Spurs players shared pictures of themselves being administered a third dose of the vaccine against Covid. 

Alli gave a thumbs up to the camera while the doctor still had the needle in his arm and added the caption: ‘Stay safe. Boosted.’

His Spanish team-mate Reguilon did exactly the same pose for his vaccination snap, writing ‘3/3 doses’. 

No doubt the majority of Spurs fans will be pleased to see the players take responsibility by accepting the vaccine. 

There remain some Premier League stars who will not take the precautionary measure and Covid is continuing to cause huge issues to the fixture schedule and Spurs were one of the first sides affected, having to cancel their Europa Conference League game against Rennes. 

Teams have been told that if they have 13 fit players and a goalkeeper their games will go ahead but their have been a number of cancellations in recent weeks.
