Atletico Madrid will not allow striker Alvaro Morata to join Barcelona in this transfer window.
Morata is on loan at Juventus and had been heavily linked with a switch to the Nou Camp, but, as reported by Sport, Atletico are unwilling to strengthen a LaLiga rival.
The Spain international is in the second season of a two-year loan at Juventus, with the Italian side having an option to sign him permanently for £29m (€35m).

Barcelona are now pursuing Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on loan, although a deal could be dependent on whether Ousmane Dembele can find a new club before the deadline.
Although Juventus want to retain the services of Morata, there is interest in him from several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle, who may have a greater chance of securing a deal with Barcelona now out of the picture.
