Triple H opens up on Drew McIntyre’s return

In the last episode of Monday Night Raw – which succeeded Survivor Series – fans were left speechless due to the return of Drew McIntyre. The Scottish champion is one of WWE’s great veterans and I’ve squeezed his body to the limit over the last few years to continue competing at the highest level.
Drew is certainly one of the most well-liked and respected wrestlers backstage, which is why his return in the latter part of 2024 is an amazing news for this business in general. McIntyre had not appeared since he was defeated by CM Punk in a very tough battle at ‘Bad Blood’ last October, when the two legends faced each other in a very spectacular ‘Hell in a Cell match’.
Although that clash was not related to the federation’s choice to keep him out in the last month – as Triple H also clarified – WWE wanted to give Drew the right time to recover from that incredible effort. The Scotsman had suffered a bad cut on his forehead, for which 16 stitches were needed.
After returning in the last episode of the red show, Drew wasted no time and brutally attacked Sami Zayn starting a new storyline. According to reports from ‘PWInsider’, his return has been brought forward compared to the original plans.
Bronson Reed’s injury during Survivor Series would have convinced WWE management to anticipate McIntyre’s return. The Scottish superstar will be attending many shows this month, including live events in Christmas week.
