Wes Lee Faces Former Tag Partner at WWE NXT No Mercy

It wasn’t just what Wes Lee did on last week’s “WWE NXT,” he spoke more about it and further managed to make an encounter for an event known as WWE NXT No Mercy. In a fiery in-ring promo, the former North American Champion called out his former Rascalz teammate, Zach Wentz, leading to a one-on-one match at the upcoming event.
However, this was challenged by Lee, who artfully hinted at Wentz’s past, which led to his 2022 exit from WWE. Inferably referencing Wentz’s egress from WWE without mentioning it directly after controversial pictures appeared online caused him to leave WWE.
Then, after he no longer had a job with his former employer, he found another home in TNA Wrestling, where their mutual friend Trey Miguel worked, too. It is how they eventually returned to “NXT” under the partnership between WWE and TNA.
He said that he was surprised by himself even though he had betrayed them last week. He revealed that he had hoped to win championships together with his best friend but once again Wentz had “let him down.” They only thought of him as tag team wrestler and most people doubted if he could thrive alone.
He countered this perception by proudly stating that hard work had made him the “greatest North American Champion of all time.”
Wes Lee Caretaker Role
This was not where Lee ended up; instead, he went further into explaining his frustrations about Wentz, describing himself as Wentz’s “caretaker”.
This means booking flights for him in addition to dealing with whatever dumb shit comes out of his mouth or head,” driving us between shows,” squashing conflicts that were initiated by Wentz himself”. However, according to Lee, taking care of him stopped there.
