Golf is back, and it brought a tremendous tournament with it. This week’s Tournament of Champions marks the first week of nine straight months of PGA Tour golf and the $8 million 2021 winners-only field is among the best events of the year.

Not only do we get Jon Rahm and Collin Morikawa duking it out for world No. 1, but we also get Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth trying to add to their collections of double-digit wins on the PGA Tour plus Phil Mickelson making his first appearance in two decades. Oh, and we also get Hawaii views in the middle of winter. And we get them in primetime.

We also get them, for the first time, on ESPN+ as PGA Tour Live moves to that platform where it will see expanded, beginning-to-end coverage for this event. If you don’t want to dive quite that deep, the whales will be breeching on Golf Channel all four days in perfect viewing time on the East Coast.

Regardless of how you watch, what you watch this week is almost certainly going to be outstanding. With 16 of the top 20 players in the world involved on a fun, sometimes quirky golf course, golf resoundingly returns for what should be another fabulous year.
