2022 British Open odds: Surprising PGA picks, golf predictions from model that nailed the Masters

Each week brings another group of golfers who are asked to respond to rumors that they may be among the next to jump from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf, and one of the latest is Sungjae Im. The 24-year-old Korean golfer had three consecutive finishes of 15th or better prior to missing the cut at this year’s U.S. Open, but he’s expected to be in the 2022 Open Championship field starting Thursday, July 14. Im missed the cut in his only Open Championship appearance in 2019, but he finished eighth at the Masters in April. Other 2022 Open Championship contenders include Scottie Scheffler (12-1), Justin Thomas (14-1) and Matt Fitzpatrick (20-1), who together won the previous three majors this year.
