In real life, in reality, Eddie Guerrero was a great friend of both the top heel wrestlers of the company, with both athletes who were very upset by his untimely death, especially JBL, who thanks to Eddie owes his fame from WWE Champion.

Over the course of their respective careers in the blue show rings, JBL and Brock Lesnar have also challenged each other several times, with JBL who has always been a heel since he changed character and with Lesnar who, on the other hand, has also played in the ranks of the good guys several times by Smackdown, going up against the federation’s evil Texan.

JBL reflects on Brock Lesnar

In his last interview, the WWE Hall of Famer, he wanted to spend big words in the confrontations of his colleague Brock Lesnar, remembering that moment in which Lesnar wanted to overthrow his JBL, passing for a “loser” in front of the public, just to make him a pleasure in front of his friends.

In his last speech in a question and answer session on Youtube, to a fan, JBL replied: “I was working with Brock in Abilene and I said ‘Hey, Brock, I’d like to talk to you’ and Brock said ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah your college friends are here.

I’ll send you over ‘I replied’ Brock, they don’t care who goes over and who doesn’t. I could not care less. If you win, I win, it doesn’t matter ‘I said then’ Don’t worry, we’ll go drink somewhere later ‘and that’s what I told him.”

In the end, Brock Lesnar’s offer was firmly rejected by JBL, who did not want to distort the character as an “immovable beast” but it was nevertheless greatly appreciated by the former WWE Champion. JBL also thanked Brock for that gesture, which many did not even know.
