The Ottawa Senators are on a bit of a roll as of late. The team has won four of their past five appearances, including a dominant 4-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lighting on Saturday.
Brady Tkachuk scored three consecutive goals in this game to help his team pick up a big win against the reigning Stanley Cup champions. He started his night off with a power play goal scored 3:32 into the second period. This goal was assisted by Tim Stützle. Under two minutes later Tkachuk notched another power play goal. This time the assists were credited to Thomas Chabot and Drake Batherson. In the third, Tkachuk finished off his hat trick with an empty-netter.
In net for the Senators, Anton Forsberg earned himself a shutout by stopping all of the 25 shots he faced. This was his first shutout of 2021-2022. Forsberg has now picked up wins in his past four consecutive games.

Josh Norris opened scoring for Ottawa 12:40 into the first period. His goal was assisted by Drake Batherson and Thomas Chabot.
In the second, Brady Tkachuk scored two goals within two minutes. Both goals came on the power play. Tim Stützle, Thomas Chabot and Drake Batherson earned an assist each on Tkachuk’s goals.
In the third, Brady Tkachuk concluded the scoring in this game with an empty-net goal. This final score was assisted by Drake Batherson.
Anton Forsberg stopped all of the 25 shots he faced to post a shutout in this game.
For Tampa, Brian Elliott made 19 saves on 22 shots for a save percentage of .864.
