Adam Scherr comments on his future

Adam Scherr, known in WWE as Braun Strowman, gave a lengthy interview with CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri, revealing that he would not be interested in signing a new full-time contract with a wrestling federation, after being released with that of Vince McMahon.

Adam Scherr spoke of not wanting, at the moment, a full-time contract with a federation.

He said, “I’m not looking for a full-time contract. If I get any offers, I’ll nip it in the bud right away.

I’m looking to enjoy some of my time. I love the art of wrestling and eight years with WWE have been very time-consuming. I’ve been very, very lucky with the opportunities I’ve had. I got to travel the world and do many other things.

But it was nice to have these six months for me. I have forgotten so many little things in life that mean a lot. Time flies and you forget it. You don’t have the ability to do anything. So I’m making up time to spend it with my family and loved ones.

I work on my mental and physical health. At the moment I just want to try to have fun. Having a full-time contract and being on TV every week, I don’t lie, is stressful. It’s nice not to have that stress every week. Right now, I’m just trying to enjoy my time.

I collect some money for some charities and that makes people smile”. On your own mental health: “Learning to actually discuss your problems is important. Everyone has problems and it is terrible to ignore your feelings.

This can never work. You can do it for a while, but eventually, you ignore so many things that sooner or later you will explode. This is what happened to me. Your friends, your family, your loved ones. This is the most important thing about human beings.
