Canelo Alvarez has said he was scared for Amir Khan after he knocked him out during his bout with the Brit back in 2016.
Khan was knocked out in the sixth round by all-time Mexican great back in May of that year, in a fight for the WBC middleweight title in Las Vegas.
He was brutally floored by a right hand from Alvarez to end the fight.
And, speaking ahead of this Saturday’s bout with Gennady Golovkin, Canelo was reflecting on his previous KOs in his career so far.

Reflecting on the fight with Khan, he told DAZN: ‘With Amir Khan- he scared me a little, I felt a bit worried.
‘I actually went over to see if he was ok. It was the natural reaction – the knockout was too strong.
‘And on top of that, when he fell to the canvas he twisted his neck badly.
‘So I thought something more than a knockout had happened.’
