Xia Li starts MMA training

Over the past few years, many WWE wrestlers have embarked on a career parallel to that of professional wrestlers, with numerous WWE names entering MMA for more or less a long time, before or after their landing on the WWE ring.
In the list of athletes who have fought in both worlds, we find in fact: Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, Matt Riddle, Shayna Baszler, Ronda Rousey and many other names, with several wrestlers who sooner or later try to make their big jump, maybe with little luck, as happened to CM Punk.
The last in chronological order to have decided to pursue a new career in MMA is Xia Li, wrester released by WWE last April, which began his training with Jungle MMA, with which he will fight in a month for the first time.
After the small breakout paired with Breakker at NXT, Baron Corbin was moved back to the main roster, where he appeared only fleetingly in the company’s weekly showings, with the management that does not seem to have clear ideas on what to do for its athlete in the near future.
Apparently, Baron Corbin would be confident about what he would like to do outside the WWE ring, with the same wrestler who seems to have run for a jiu-jitsu tournament in Tampa, Florida. Recall that in Corbin’s past, there was a brilliant career as a boxer, but also a background as an MMA fighter.
In his last tweet on X, Corbin aimed for a new commitment to another reality that is not pro-wrestling, writing: “Come on! I think I’ll fight in this. I need more gold”.
Update on Xia Li
Speaking to Screenrant, Xia Li explained that there is a real connection to her character’s story and that when she introduced him to her sister in China, she cried because she knew where that story came from.
