Bold Carlos Alcaraz warns Novak Djokovic ’cause is sure to win

Here we are: in a few hours, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will challenge each other for the second consecutive year in the Wimbledon final. Carlitos – who always keeps his ambitions at the highest level – has never hidden his great ambitions to v and has spotted his rival, revealing how he feels sure of winning the Championships.

“Djokovic knows much better than me what it means to play a final at Wimbledon and, in general, in a Grand Slam tournament. He is much more prepared than me in this sense, but I believe in myself. I believe in the level that I am expressing and I believe that I will win. This is what goes through my mind. Obviously I will be nervous waiting for the final, it is normal. But I know what it means to be in this position. I know how I will have to face everything that will happen until the end and what I have to do to win.

Considering Djokovic’s knee problem, perhaps they see me as the favorite in the final. But if Djokovic has reached the final act of the tournament, it means that his level is very high. I do not consider myself the favorite, in a final there are no favorites. We will see who will play better and who will manage some moments of the match better. I think I am ready to do my best and win,” said Alcaraz in an interview with AS.

The young Spaniard wants to be the best in history. Perhaps it is precisely this incredible mentality of a predestined person that at the age of 21 allows him to step onto the court without feeling too much pressure and courageously manage the important moments of each match. The Spaniard has already won three Slams in his career (US Open 2022, Wimbledon 2023 and Roland Garros 2024) and today he will go hunting for the fourth in the final of the Championships. On the other side of the net, like last year, he will find Novak Djokovic. An opponent who believes he can still beat on the lawns of the All England Club.
