Wrestling Community Rallies Behind Injured TNA Star Chris Bey

The professional wrestling world has come out in force to support Total Nonstop Action-tna wrestling’s Chris Bey, who suffered a serious neck injury over the weekend in Detroit during “TNA Impact” tapings. A fan favorite inside the ring, Bey experienced a setback in competition against The Hardy Boyz, requiring surgeons to order him under the knife immediately.

Since this happened, messages of support have flowed in thick and fast from colleagues and fans alike- a testament to how close-knit this wrestling community is. The star man of TNA, Joe Hendry, was among the first to send his heartfelt wishes to Bey. “We love you, Chris Bey,” Hendry said. “You are one of the sweetest persons I ever meet and a great human, we’re all thinking of you ❤️” At the event, Hendry encouraged those in attendance to keep Bey in their thoughts and prayers.

Ace Austin’s Tribute

Among those paying this beautiful tribute on social media was Ace Austin, Bey’s tag team partner at his death. He put up several pictures of time with Bey, which he punctuated with images of peace and hearts in solidarity.

Joining a chorus of good wishes, TNA commentator Tom Hannifan rallied the wrestling world to support Bey’s recovery. “No group of people rallies around an individual quite like the pro wrestling world. Keep @DashingChrisBey in your thoughts. Support him if you can,” Hannifan relates, pointing to the supportive spirit of the community present.

TNA’s AJ Francis started the hashtag “#Pray4Bey” and went viral. Stars from other wrestling promotions, like AEW’s Athena and former WWE wrestlers Big E and Nick Aldis, also tweeted their best wishes, a testament to the business’s cross-promotional love.
