WWE Under Fire for Overshadowing Giulia at NXT Event

From the very first unannounced appearance she made at NXT No Mercy, Giulia’s latest term with WWE has been successful. She carried on the momentum by featuring this week on NXT. Nevertheless, her segment in question was dubbed as being overpowered by other performers.

WWE Rewrites History, On This Day In 2019 At The NXT, Giulia caught the attention just as NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez was on the microphone. At the same time, Chelsea Green was already inside the ring asking Perez for a title match.

Things got wild when Green pushed Giulia and tried to hit her. After that, there was a G-Trigger from Giulia, and Green sat on the mat unconscious.

Bully Ray Criticizes WWE

While Indie’s disapproved of Green appearing on television, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray shared his side of the story on Busted Open Radio.

Bully was upset with WWE’s decision to have Green in the segment, saying that she overshadowed the rest. In his justification, Ray felt that Green’s involvement was so huge that some performers, including Giulia, couldn’t help but feel overshadowed.

Ray emphasized that the primary purpose for main roster talents when they are called to the NXT brand is to help other wrestlers fulfil their roles and not to outshine them. “I’ve never felt that any talent that has been Julian.

Who said it goes first Janet is inserted into NXT only to overshadow people because I understand the purpose they serve which is to enhance the roster, give the rub, to help the other talent,” he emphasized further.

Moving on, he expressed how he regretted the paragraph in which the decision to add Green was made. “I don’t know if I would put Chelsea Green in that segment. That said Ray said in the segment”. Ray further described.

“Last night made everybody look pale in that segment last night and it’s Chelsea Green. Roxanne Perez how you love her, Giula how you find her greatness, I can’t say that because it’s Chelsea Green who ruled the entire show”.
