Why AEW Bryan Danielson Leave WWE in 2021?

In their latest scoop with “Inside The Ropes,” Bryan Danielson, popularly called “The American Dragon,” opened up on his reason for leaving WWE in May 2021 as fans are curious. He knows this would come at the end of his story on August 30, 2020, when he did not renew his contract after WrestleMania 36.
That takes me to November when contracts are announced. Danielson debuted a few months later after he departed from WWE at the AEW All Out event in an understandable manner. After Danielson joined the ranks of AEW, he wasted no time establishing himself as one of the company’s leaders within 5 major PPVs and winning the AEW World Championship.
The narrative conveying his experience in promoting AEW emphasizes new strength in his ennobled wrestling career, meaning that he is generally happy with the transition.
Danielson Career Choices
Danielson stated that his exit from WWE was not only a question of who is better among two SSL rivals, but much deeper contemplating on his career.
“Everyone thinks it’s a two-horse race of AEW or WWE, but there were three considerations, four considerations probably. AEW, WWE, not wrestling at all that was seriously on the table and then not signing any contract and just being like, okay if I want to go do G1, then who do I have to ask permission, no one,” Danielson explained.
As Danielson made clear, the rationale for such rebranding was not even a gesture of dislike towards WWE and Vince McMahon’s management. Instead, it was seized the chance to go out of the WWE’s business organizational chart.
“There were just some things that I wanted to do that… some of the things that I wanted to do you just can’t do in WWE and you still can’t do it,” he said. When talking about his stint in WWE, Danielson said that he enjoyed his time there.
He said that even if the leadership had not changed, the fact is that he would have joined AEW anyway. This move, as Danielson put it, was more of a case of wanting to change an environment than it…
