Jurgen Klopp says Newcastle United do not have an edge over Liverpool ahead of tonight’s Premier League contest after Eddie Howe prised one of the Reds’ analysts from Anfield.
Liverpool are heavy favourites to beat the Magpies at Anfield, having won their last seven games in all competitions and a win tonight will move them within one point of league leaders Manchester City.
However, United will be hopeful that a recent addition will be an ace up their sleeve. Liverpool analyst Mark Leyland this week left Anfield for Tyneside, having known new Magpies boss Howe from their time together at Burnley 10 years ago.
