Alexa Bliss return possible in WWE Royal Rumble 2025

Former WWE Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss is reportedly set to make a huge return to the ring, possibly at the 2025 Royal Rumble.

Bliss has been out of action since January 2023, where she last competed against Bianca Belair at the Royal Rumble. She gave birth to her first child in November 2023.

The latest reports from a number of sources suggest WWE’s creative team is actually working on the plans for Bliss’s comeback. And if WrestleVotes is to be believed, that could be quite soon, as it was mentioned that new merchandise and promotional materials are in the works. That would mean the company is preparing for her introduction into the WWE Universe once again.

Alexa Bliss Potential Return at the Royal Rumble

Where better for Bliss to make her return than at the Royal Rumble on February 1, 2025, inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis? An event that’s always chocked full of surprise entries and this would definitely be one. That would almost, to the month, be two years since she last competed in-ring.

Bliss has already been teasing a return via her social media as of late. She recently released a photo featuring her progress in the gym, seemingly back to the same weight as before her pregnancy. This again has only worked to fuel further speculation of an impending return to WWE programming.

Outside of wrestling, Alexa has lent her voice to voice acting. She is set to voice the character Obiguro in the English dub of anime “Sakamoto Days,” extending her talent outside of the ring.

Being the multi-time champion that she is, Bliss’s return could really shake things up for the women’s division, setting up new rivalries and storylines going into WrestleMania season. It remains to be seen how WWE will fit her into the current roster and what role she will take on at the point of her return, and that is something many fans and analysts are looking forward to.
