In recent months at Friday Night Smackdown, we have seen a new face alongside the exploits of the Intercontinental champion of the blue show, Shinsuke Nakamura. After a solo stint start, the management of the McMahon-owned company preferred to pass the athlete seen very little at NXT, Rick Boogs, alongside the Japanese of the Friday night show on the FOX screens, with Boogs doing so his debut on the company’s main roster after months off the screens.
In the last period, the two have become a very solid team, with Boogs playing the entry music of the company’s secondary champion on the electric guitar and with Nakamura seeming to appreciate it a lot. In the latest episode of Smackdown, the two also saw each other in action in several matches in the mid-carding of the show, both as a couple and as a single, with one always accompanying the other, when both were not engaged in the ring.
New details on Rick Boogs
In his latest interview with GiveMeSport WWE microphones, Rick Boogs in fact told of the ban that the Chairman himself made to those who prevented the wrestler himself from yelling into the microphone.
In his speech, Boogs in fact stated: “In the beginning, it was really fun. The first day I did it, I had tremendous energy because I was fresh in this whole pandemic situation, which was going on and so I couldn’t wait to perform.
I was there and screamed at the top of my lungs, so much so that my head was almost detached from my neck. From the upper floors, they told me ‘Hey man, tone it down a bit. Calm down ‘And I was like’ Eh well yeah, I’ll try to stay calm ‘ So I tried to change the way I scream when I learned that Vince adored me instead.
